The Friday Club is for 7 – 11 year olds.  It meets between 6.00 – 7.30pm on Fridays during the School term.  Activities include games, crafts, Bible stories, quizzes, cooking, team challenges and visits to local parks, amenities and public institutions.  Activities are organized to suit the age group.

  Safety is a priority.  Parental consent to attendance is essential; parents will be asked to register their child.  The Church has a Child Protection Policy deposited with the Churches Child Protection Advisory Service and the Association of Grace Baptist Churches : South East.  Friday Club staff are appointed by the Church, and leaders are ‘police checked’ with the Criminal Records Bureau.  Parents will be given a card with contact details of Friday Club leaders.  A termly programme is produced.

  Membership of the Friday Club is restricted to 24 children.  A waiting list is offered.  Membership lapses after 4 weeks’ non-attendance.  Lapsed members may re-apply.  Children are subject to basic Club rules of good behaviour, and these are displayed each Friday.
